In 2015, Ashifi was named to Fortune’s 40 under 40 list. He was awarded the Social Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2014 by the Schwab Foundation and joined the Fast Company Most Creative People in Business 1000 community. In 2013, Sproxil was named the world’s most innovative company in health care by Fast Company, and #7 most innovative worldwide, beating 99 of the Fortune 100 companies. Most recently, he has been picked as a finalist for the 2020 Global Business Hall of Fame presented by JA Worldwide.

Ashifi served on the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Social Innovation and on the Meta-Council on the Illicit Economy. He holds a US Patent and earned a Ph.D. in Engineering from Dartmouth College, where he delivered the 2020 alumni remarks at Investiture. Ashifi holds a B.A. in Mathematics and Physics from Whitman College. He was Whitman’s 2018 commencement speaker and received an honorary doctorate. He is Dartmouth’s first-ever Ph.D. Innovation Fellow and teaches an executive seminar and a course in New Business Ventures Technology Management at Columbia University.

Chinedum is the Managing Director of Sproxil’s operations in West Africa. Prior to joining Sproxil, he served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CFS West Africa Limited, a customer service advisory firm in Victoria Island, Lagos. He has valuable experience spanning strategy development and restructuring for financial services companies and conglomerates, tax advisory, e-payments, business incubation and consulting. Before his appointment as the MD/CEO of CFS West Africa, he was the Deputy Head, Business Advisory in Nextzon Business Services Limited, a Management Consulting firm in Lagos, Nigeria focused on strategy development, business restructuring and incubation. Chinedum started his career in Arthur Andersen, now KPMG Nigeria, where he worked on tax advisory and compliance projects for various companies. He has a first degree in Microbiology from the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State and an International MBA from IE Business School, Madrid, Spain. He is an alumnus of New York Institute of Finance, New York and a member of the Institute of Directors, Nigeria.

Chinedum Chijioke attended the Global Health Supply Chain summit in Jo’burg, South Africa in November, 2019 where he was a panellist and speaker at the drug quality control session during the summit.

Anshul is a well-grounded technology enthusiast with over 14 years’ experience with a track record in both startups and established technology companies.

Principal to him joining the Sproxil team, Anshul co-founded a start-up in the healthcare domain and ran it successfully for multiple years serving large domestic and international clients.

Anshul also led Sproxil’s technology diversification initiative, building its first offshore technology team and product teams from scratch and launched its flagship Trade Loyalty solution in which Sproxil acquired India’s largest beverage brand under his leadership. He is also launching a Google group for job openings by startups in Pune managing 2200 members and 1200 openings. He has also held various impactful roles at Infosys and Qwest Software Solutions.

Sonia Fife

Sonia Fife is a General Manager and Senior Marketing Executive. Previously, she worked at P&G (and Gillette) for almost 29 years where she held regional and global roles of increasing responsibility. As SVP and General Manager for P&G Shaving in North America and then Asia, she has led envisioning, strategic planning, and operational implementation in large as well as small business units / brands. Her commercial growth strategies have accelerated brands through deep understanding of customers, new markets, channels, supply chains and the organization, achieving breakthrough results.

Over the past several years Ms. Fife has been recognized multiple times for driving new business courageously and with passion. Additionally, she has served as chief sponsor and advocate for various diversity initiatives, and is a past member of the Partnership C-Suite in Boston. Currently, Ms. Fife is a Board Member of Big Sister Greater Boston and Reading Owls International.

Ms. Fife received her MBA in Marketing from Columbia University, and her BSc in Management from the University of the West Indies.

Nicholas Donofrio

Nick, a senior fellow at the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, is also a 44-year IBM veteran and serves as an IBM Fellow Emeritus, the company’s highest technical honor. From 1997 until his retirement in 2008, he served as executive vice president of Innovation and Technology.

In addition to his most recent role, he served in a variety of capacities, including vice chairman of the IBM International Foundation and chairman of the Board of Governors for the IBM Academy of Technology.

Nicholas holds seven technology patents, is a member of numerous technical and science honor societies, and is on the board of several companies and organizations. He currently is co-chair of the New York Hall of Science and serves on the Secretary of Energy’s Advisory Board (SEAB). Nicholas earned a B.S. in electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1967 and a M.S. in electrical engineering from Syracuse University in 1971. He holds numerous honorary doctorate degrees from universities in the United States, England, and Scotland.

Gunther L. Faber

Gunther, former Vice President, Sub-Saharan Africa, for GlaxoSmithKline, has more than 30 years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry. Early in his career at Beecham Group plc, Gunther was appointed a director of the International Division.

During successive mergers, his area of responsibility increased, with him being accountable for pharmaceuticals, consumer health and manufacturing in SmithKline Beecham Southern Africa. Following the merger between GlaxoWellcome and SmithKline Beecham he was appointed as vice president, Sub Saharan Africa. Gunther was also a member of the company’s Policy Team on Access to Medicine and a director of the International Division which covers all countries with the exception of the USA, Europe and Japan.

Gunther is currently the chairman and chief executive officer of One Family Health, the franchisor of the Child and Family Wellness franchise (CFW) brand in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Hunter Boll is Chief Operating Officer for Source Audio LLC, a start-up venture focused on providing consumers with next generation accessories for the musical instrument market, which he co-founded in 2005.

Previously, Hunter was managing director of Thomas H. Lee Partners, one of the largest private equity firms in the world.

He also has held positions with the Boston Consulting Group, a corporate strategy consulting firm and Chemical Bank, where he was an Assistant Vice President of the company’s Energy and Mineral Division. Hunter is a director of Acumen and Source Audio LLC.

He received a B.A. in economics from Middlebury College and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Alden Zecha

Alden served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer and Strategist. Responsible for the company’s overall business strategy, he also led the finance and administration departments for Sproxil globally.

Alden brings more than 20 years of broad-range executive expertise in operations, business planning and finance to the role. His vast experience includes working with companies in more than 20 countries.

Prior to joining Sproxil, Zecha co-founded and served as CFO of ultra-luxury travel company PrivatSea and as CFO of Rethos, a sustainability and corporate social responsibility social media website. He also co-founded an OTC drug distribution company and worked with the Japanese MHW (FDA equivalent) on regulatory compliance issues for Procter & Gamble. Zecha previously worked with consulting firms, Monitor Group and BearingPoint, and served as international economic development specialist for the State of Hawaii.

Zecha received his MSE and BSE with honors in chemical engineering from Princeton University, where he was a United Technologies Scholar, and holds a certificate in finance from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. He is the immediate past President for the Princeton Entrepreneurs’ Network of Boston.
